Six Steps to a Healthy Turf
Round 1 - Control -- February
This application consists of a balanced fertilizer, post emergent broadleaf control along with crabgrass and other grassy weed prevention.
Round 2 - Feed -- March/April
This application provides your lawn with essential nutrients, while providing broadleaf weed control along with crabgrass and other annual grassy weed prevention.
Round 3 - Apply -- May/June/July
This application provides your turf with essential nutrients and also controls weeds and turf damaging, surface feeding insects.
Round 4 - Clean Up -- August
Combating the stress of the summer season, this application provides your lawn with essential nutrients while controlling weeds and turf damaging, surface feeding insects.
Round 5 - Fertilizer -- September/October
(THIS IS THE BEST TIME OF YEAR FOR AERATION/OVER SEEDING)
This application of fall fertilizer will help the grass recover from summer stress and provide nutrients for newly germinated seed.
Round 6 - Finale -- November/December
This last application of the season will provide weed control for broadleaf and winter annual weeds that may emerge after aeration.
Extra Service:
Additional application of fungicide may be necessary to combat brown patch (Rhizoetonia). This fungus may cause browning and melting out of cool season turf in late spring, early summer.
